Faculty of Mechanical Engineering International Week

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering International Office is once again holding an International Week. For five days, from October 26 to 30, 2015, interested students can attend presentations and group advising sessions to plan their own stay abroad. The International Week offered by Faculty 4 supplements the Go Abroad Fair of the International Office, and is specifically oriented towards mechanical engineering students.

Have you just started your studies but already know that you want to spend a semester abroad? Or have you already finished your Bachelor's studies and are planning on writing your Master's thesis abroad? We want to help you plan and are available to help with all things study abroad related during the 44th calendar week. Many of the information events that are usually distributed over the semester will be offered during the International Week this year and supplemented with group advising sessions and presentations from institutes.

The events are open to students regardless of their year or degree. The appointments offered by individual institutes are of special interest to those who have already started their area of specialization or plan to do so later in their studies.

Please note that you must register to participate in the appointments marked with a *. Register by sending an email to with your name, RWTH email address, and the event you would like to attend by October 16, 2015. You will receive a response from us after October 19. We would also like to announce that the study abroad advising hours will not be held during the International Week.

We look forward to your visit!
