The Equal Opportunities Officer of RWTH Aachen University is supported by a team of faculty representatives within our faculty, especially in committees.
In December 2019, the Commission for Equal Opportunities was established as the continuation and expansion of the faculty's 10 year long gender working group.
We are actively involved in higher-level committees and centres of excellence, e.g. the RWTH's Working Group on Inclusion, the NRW Women and Career Competence Centre of the Aachen Special Purpose Association, and various selection committees for targeted scholarships.
