International Study and Education Partnerships: USA, Australia and Mexico
At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, various institutes have entered into cooperation agreements with US, Australian and Mexican universities to facilitate student exchanges. As a rule, no tuition fees are due at the host university and financial support through the DAAD ISAP program is possible in some cases. The exchange places are primarily (but not exclusively) for students of the subject area represented by the respective institute.
The following partnerships currently exist within the ISAP programe in Faculty 4:
Aachen Process Engineering - Carnegie Mellon University:
Up to three advanced Bachelor students are allowed to study at the CMU for ten months each year through AVT's partnership. Written exams and project work can be written at the CMU.
