ITESM - Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey
Through collaboration with the reputable Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, ITESM for short, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering enables its students to complete study abroad at the campus in Gudalajara, Mexico. The exchange is limited to ten students, from higher core semesters in Bachelor and Master studies, for up to two semesters.
The ITESM is one of the leading Latin American universities. Founded in 1943 by a group of entrepreneurs, the ITESM has 32 other campuses throughout Mexico in addition to the one in Guadalajara, as well as multiple branches in North America, Europe, and Asia. The Guadalajara campus was inaugurated in 1991 and is located in northwestern Mexico, in Guadalajara, the second largest Mexican city.
The partnership exists between the departments of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, and mechatronics. You can find additional information about the university and the Guadalajara campus online. The host university's international office is also available for questions regarding visas, course selection, accomodations, and more.
The Institute of General Mechanics (IAM) maintains a study exchange partnership with the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey as part of the ISAP programme. Students can study and do research at this university with a scholarship for two semesters. Further information can be found on the IAM website.
