International Study and Education Partnerships: USA, Australia and Mexico

At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, various institutes have entered into cooperation agreements with US, Australian and Mexican universities to facilitate student exchanges. As a rule, no tuition fees are due at the host university and financial support through the DAAD ISAP program is possible in some cases. The exchange places are primarily (but not exclusively) for students of the subject area represented by the respective institute.

The following partnerships currently exist within the ISAP programe in Faculty 4:

Aachen Process Engineering - Carnegie Mellon University:

Up to three advanced Bachelor students are allowed to study at the CMU for ten months each year through AVT's partnership. Written exams and project work can be written at the CMU. The application deadline is always the end of the second week of January for the winter semester coming up. All further information can be found on this website.

Chair of Technical Thermodynamics - University of California Davis:

Every year, the LTT offers up to three students the opportunity to study for nine months at UC Davis and to write a scientific paper in addition to exams. The programe is aimed at Bachelor's in 3rd and 5th semester. The application deadline is always the end of the second week of January for the winter semester of the following year.
