How does the T.I.M.E. program work with Comillas Universidad Pontificia?

You will complete your Bachelor's degree in a regular way at the RWTH Aachen University. Ideally, and in order not to risk any further delay in your studies by participating in the T.I.M.E. exchange, you will start your Master's degree in a Mechanical Engineering Master's program in the summer semester following the application period. You will complete the regular first master semester and then continue your studies for up to 2 years at Comillas Universidad. There you will attend modules in your specialisation and write a research paper. Modules with a maximum of 30 CP can be integrated into your local curriculum in the context of a change in the curriculum.

After your stay at the Comillas Universidad you will return to the RWTH Aachen University and write your final thesis in Aachen (Supervision is provided by professors of the RWTH Aachen University and professors of the Comillas Universidad). With the award of the "Master of Science RWTH Aachen University" you will also receive one or two Master degrees from Comillas Universidad.

What benefits are included in participation in the program?

Participation in the T.I.M.E. exchange exempts you from the tuition fees of the partner university. In addition, you are guaranteed a place in a hall of residence (subject to a fee). On-site support is provided by the International Office of the partner university.

What academic qualifications will be recognized by my participation in the program?

Participants can have up to 30 CP recognised for their Master's degree course in their home country within the framework of a change in the curriculum. The extended duration of study justifies the award of two or three degrees.
