Who can help?
No matter which country you decide on, we will be happy to help your planning and conducting your study abroad. The Exchange Office informs you about possible study courses during a study abroad, exchange programs, contacts of professors, universities and partner universities abroad, at which study and exam performances were already completed, and the possibilities and necessary formalities for integrating study and exam performances into the local curriculum.
Furthermore, the International Office of RWTH Aachen University informs you about organizational and financial aspects related to studying abroad (registration procedures, housing, language classes, language certificates, scholarships). Additionally, student experience reports may be viewed at the International Office and the Student Organization Mechanical Engineering.
Students often want help with decision-making processes such as "Should I better do an internship, a research stay or a semester abroad" or "Which ERASMUS partner university should I apply for". Since such decisions must always be made taking into account the individual situation of the student, it is difficult to provide assistance in advising students abroad. Within the decision workshops organized by the Mentoring Team and the International Team of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, we work with students through various tools for decision-making. However, since these workshops are limited in number of participants, we would like to introduce you to the decision navigation of the research area Decision Research and Financial Services of RWTH Aachen University.
